Welcome to this summer edition of the newsletter. I hope you’re all getting outside and enjoying the gorgeous sunshine, whether you’re out on the golf course or relaxing on the veranda with a drink in hand.

Hopefully you were one of the group of members who managed to join in the new Les Mills launches on the weekend of the 6th and 7th July. This was followed by our fun day with bouncy castles, games and a special guest Pink Fong who made an appearance on stage to dance to the baby shark song. Apologies to the parents who had to listen to that a number of times and then had to get it out of their heads for the rest of the day!

Congratulations to the Club Championship winners, Rachel Casey, Leigh Tupper and David Kaylor, I hope you had a great weekend of golf. Adrian and his team did a fantastic job preparing the course.

Congratulations to Warwick and his team for winning their John Day Match against Romford. Congratulations also go to Jenny Stonebank and her Harris Bowl team on a convincing 4.5/0.5 win at home to Play Golf Colchester today. All of the matches were competitively fought and, in some cases, came down to the last hole but the Benton Hall ladies kept their cool in the warm conditions and maintained their winning streak.

If you haven’t booked your tickets yet, don’t miss out on watching Bohemian Rhapsody at the Open Air Cinema on Saturday 24th August. There is a limited amount of member discount codes so pick up your code at reception.

If you’ve been in the gym this month you would have seen the Dice Game Workout Gym Challenge. Members could roll the dice 5 times to create a 5 station circuit. They performed each station for 30 seconds and repeated each exercise twice. There were some fun and interesting workouts – well done to everyone who took part.
