A message from the General Manager
Welcome to the October newsletter.
I love this time of year when the leaves are changing colours on the trees and you start to get those crisp cold sunny mornings.
It’s also at this time of year that the golf captains finish their year in captaincy and hand over to their vice captains to start their year. I’d like to wish all the very best to Kenny Gee (Men’s), Stuart Mackenzie (Seniors), Sue Ward (Ladies) and Oliver Wise (Juniors) for a successful year of golf.
At the beginning of October the Warwickshire saw this year’s Club Champions in Juniors, Seniors, Men’s and Ladies divisions all play against each other in the Club Company’s, Champion of Champions. Congratulations to Rachel Casey for her second place for the ladies, a very well done.
I’d like to welcome a few new members of the team to the Club. You will receive a lovely warm welcome at the front desk from Sarah. Greg and Rebecca will be on hand to help you with your goals in the gym. Squatober was the challenge in the gym, did you take part and complete it? Look out for the next one and give it a go.
The latest Les Mills launch took place last month with some great team teaching making the classes even more enjoyable. Classes are a fantastic way to keep motivated in a community environment. There are over 130 classes to enjoy with friends and likeminded people making them difficult to miss each week.
Don’t forget that the crèche is available to members and non-members for a maximum of two hours to give you the valuable ‘me’ time that everyone needs. Enjoy a workout, class, swim or just some quiet time in the bar with a Costa coffee and a newspaper.
Christmas is fast approaching and our party nights are filling up quickly. If you’re thinking of organising a work or family Christmas gathering speak to Mhairi in events or pick up one of the brochures for more details.
Hope to see you around the Club soon.
