About
Why do you love teaching Body Attack?
Body Attack was my go-to class as a member because of the way it made me feel inside and how it challenged and motivated me to improve my fitness. One of the main reasons I trained as an instructor was to help others find that same feeling of joy and exhilaration from their workouts, and to get fitter together. I still feel excited when I teach Attack and can't help but give it everything, which I hope encourages members to do the same! 2. What can you expect from a Body Attack class? Body Attack is an energetic and fun all-round body workout, choreographed to great music. It's easily adaptable to whatever fitness level you're at, with higher and lower intensity options so everyone can join in, and if you want to really push yourself to the limit this is definitely a class which will tick the box! 3. What can regular class attendance do for your health/fitness/body composition? Body Attack has lots of athletic and strength-focussed moves which can improve our coordination, strength, stability and cardiovascular fitness over time. It's a massive calorie burner whilst also helping to shape and tone the body.
4. Which muscles are the most worked during a class? Heart and lungs! It's big on cardio. We're on our feet most of the time so there's lots of work for the lower body (calves, hamstrings, quads and butt). 5. What do members most enjoy about Body Attack classes? I've heard people say the feeling at the end of a Body Attack class is like nothing else - the endorphines as we finish the last big 'power' track are incredible! The uplifting and motivating music definitely has a lot to do with it!
