I love teaching Ride Race because of the energy members and the real desire they

have to improve their fitness
You can expect great music and of course lots of sweat
Your fitness will improe along with overall leg strength and you will get to know a
great bunch of like minded cyclists
Main areas worked are your quads, hamstrings, glutes, hip flexors and calves and
did you know that Cyclists develop the stringest hearts of all athletes?!
I think what members enjoy most is is getting a fantastic workout whilst catering
for that competitive spark within

RIDE Race - how many calories can I expect to burn in a session?

RIDE Race - What can I expect from this class?

A cycle class. Every class will start with a 5 minute Functional Threshold Power test, this will be used to drive your workout results.

RIDE Race - What can regular class attendance do for my health/fitness/body composition?

Increase metabolic rate and aerobic fitness

RIDE Race - What do I need to wear/bring?

Water, & wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in, preferably lycra to make cycle more comfortable. Cycle shoes if possible or trainers.

While it can be fun to go on a ride alone to clear your thoughts, the energy you feel from your RIDE class peers is contagious. If you come into class and really show up, your 45-minute ride could feel as fast as 20 minutes because you’re enjoying it. And when the person next to you is screaming out in anticipation and excitement for the coming climb, you won’t even realise it’s your second-to-last song. You’ll be having too much fun working out and sweating.
