About

Having started my own fitness journey through competing and teaching Judo since the age of 19, I decided to take it further by studying to become a Personal Trainer to improve my own strength and fitness for competition. I am also looking to compete in my first triathlon, and work up to a full Ironman. I have been working in fitness since 2014 training within various gyms expanding my knowledge and skills. I qualified in Exercise Referral which looks at High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis, Joint Pain & Replacement, COPD, Anxiety/Depression and High Cholesterol.

I really enjoy helping others who never thought it possible to reach their fitness goals and recover from injuries and train with certain health conditions. Over the past 3 years I have refined my knowledge and skills to help them grow even more.

A cycle class. Every class will start with a 5 minute Functional Threshold Power test, this will be used to drive your workout results.

Increase metabolic rate and aerobic fitness

RIDE Race - What do I need to wear/bring?

Water, & wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in, preferably lycra to make cycle more comfortable. Cycle shoes if possible or trainers.

I love teaching Ride Race because of the energy of the members, and the real desire they have to improve their fitness. You can expect great music and, of course, lots of sweat! Your fitness will improve along with overall leg strength, and you will get to know a great bunch of like-minded cyclists! I think what members enjoy most is is getting a fantastic workout whilst catering for that competitive spark within.

While it can be fun to go on a ride alone to clear your thoughts, the energy you feel from your RIDE class peers is contagious. If you come into class and really show up, your 45-minute ride could feel as fast as 20 minutes because you’re enjoying it. And when the person next to you is screaming out in anticipation and excitement for the coming climb, you won’t even realise it’s your second-to-last song. You’ll be having too much fun working out and sweating.
