Testimonials
Pilates is an excellent workout and always feel so fit and well when I leave.
Apart from being great fun, it helps with back ache and undoubtedly helped my recovery from a hip replacement.
Pilates can be modified to provide either a gentle strength training programme or a challenging workout. Most people will have no problem with this form of exercise - anyone and everyone can benefit and work to their own level. Part of Pilates is knowing your limits and working within them. Seeing people progress, get stronger and manage their injuries and health conditions is very rewarding as an instructor.
I've been teaching Pilates for 20 years, and continually learn from the members about what does or doesn't help them move better in their everyday life. The reward is to see someone with an injury or restriction that has improved to a degree to make their everyday lives easier.
